ARE YOU CONNECTED
The final stage (Stage 10) of Phase 1 opened on October 1, 2021. This means all properties within Stages 1-10 are open and are available to connect to the system.
An interactive map for stage connection dates is available at yvsewermap.com.
There have been approximately 3,000 connections to the system which is more than 65% of the total connections.
A connection progress graph is posted on the bulletin board outside the administration building and updated weekly.
WHAT IF I DON'T CONNECT or WHAT IF I NEED HELP CONNECTING
Should a property not connect in the designated time, the property will be reported to the State as non-compliant and the State will handle the process at that point.
The District has a loan available for property owners to cover all associated costs of connecting to the sewer.
Grant monies are available to cover Joshua Tree related mitigation fees.
The loan and grants are only eligible to single family resident property owners who are owner occupied.
All Joshua Tree mitigation related costs and process of should be directed to the Town of Yucca Valley or California Fish and Wildlife.
