WATER QUALITY REPORT AVAILABLE NOW

Is the water served by Hi-Desert Water District clean and safe? Absolutely.

All drinking water we serve meets or exceeds government health and safety standards. Hi-Desert Water District performs hundreds of water tests each year for bacteria and other regulated contaminants. The results of that sampling are included in an annual water quality report, now available online at https://bit.ly/4bnCky0. For previous years reports and additional water quality information, visit Water Quality | Hi-Desert Water District, CA (hdwd.com).

Knowledge is Key

The Hi-Desert Water District is always exploring new ways to assist employees with their day to day operations at the District. Classes improving safety are a top priority. For our employees, the desert provides a uniqueness that creates it's own challenges. On May 2nd, several field employees attended the Desert Survival Seminar hosted by the Hi-Desert Medical Center. Health and National Park experts led the informative session that helped bring awareness to snake season, snake bite prevention, and treatment.

Leak Detection

As part of its ongoing efforts to conserve its community's vital drinking water resource, Hi-Desert Water District has prepared a short video to help its customers locate a household leak.

According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ten percent of homes have leaks that waste 90 gallons of water or more per day. Common leaks found in the home are dripping faucets, worn toilet flappers, and leaking spigots. Watch the How to Check for Leaks in Your Home video to help save water and money.

Visit our Water Conservation page for more information and tips to reduce water waste.
